Access to Justice Project

                                                                                                   Access to Justice Project

Our Access to Justice project started in 2014 thanks to the energy and commitment of John Bingham, one of FWB’s founding members. The service has assisted hundreds of local migrants by providing free advice and casework regarding Britain's notoriously complex immigration laws.

In September 2023 Access to Justice moved from All Saints to new premises at the University of Portsmouth where the current project lead, Charles Leddy-Owen, is a lecturer. With the assistance of the university and its facilities we will be training up new advisers to provide much-needed support for local marginalised migrants.

Referrals for advice are currently going through Citizens Advice Portsmouth with whom we work very closely. If you have any questions about Access to Justice you can email [email protected].
