Saturday 30th November 2013 at 7.30pmHampshire Recorder Sinfonia have kindly agreed to give a concert in aid of HVG on Saturday 30th November at 7.30pm in All Saints Church, Portsmouth, PO1 4BT. HRS is an independent group of some 30-40 players of mixed ages and musical backgrounds who perform as a recorder orchestra. If you are not sure if a concert of recorder players is for you, then please read some reviews of the Sinfonia on their website. We'll sure you'll be convinced! The Sinfonia always offer a varied programme with compositions ranging from the Renaissance to the twenty-first century. Within each concert they also vary the ensemble, sometimes playing as a full orchestra, an orchestra with off-stage effects, or playing three and four choir antiphonal items."
